Every part is produced to a customer drawing with inspection and, where required, dimensional reporting.
A manifold is a fixture problem as much as a machining problem: the ports are inside the part, the sealing faces are on different planes, and the bolt pattern has to match the head.
Approach
The part is machined from solid in a sequence that establishes the flange faces and bolt pattern first, then opens the runners from both ends so the port transitions blend rather than step.
What to send
A solid model plus the mating head dimensions. Port matching is usually the specification that matters most, and it is easier to hold from the head drawing than from the manifold model alone.
