Robotics & Automation manufacturing
End effectors, grippers, frames and machine parts produced for stiffness, repeatability and fast turnaround on design changes.
Automation projects live and die by interfaces. If a motor mount is out of position or a base plate is not flat, the whole cell pays for it in shimming, alignment time and repeatability problems.
Typical work
Robot base and adapter plates, end effector frames and gripper jaws, machine frames and guarding, conveyor brackets and guides, sensor mounting hardware, and commissioning spares.
Interfaces first
We machine from the mating component dimensions as well as the drawing, so bolt patterns and pilot diameters match what is actually being mounted. If you can send the datasheet of the motor, rail or gripper, the fit will be right the first time.
What this industry asks of a supplier
Stiffness where it matters
Machined plates and brackets are produced flat and parallel so assemblies do not introduce deflection into the motion system.
Mounting-hole accuracy
Hole patterns are machined to position tolerance so motors, rails and grippers bolt on without slotting or shimming.
Fast iteration on fixtures
When a cell is being commissioned, a redesigned bracket can be cut and shipped in days.
Assembled sub-systems
Plates, brackets and hardware can be delivered as a kitted sub-assembly ready to mount.
Processes we use for robotics & automation
Anodizing
Clear, black and coloured anodizing for aluminium parts — corrosion resistance and wear performance in a finish that still looks like metal.
View processCNC Milling
Precision CNC milling for housings, plates, brackets and complex profiles in metal and plastic, from a single prototype to repeat production batches.
View processSheet Metal Assembly
Hardware insertion, riveting, bonding and light mechanical assembly so fabricated parts arrive as kits that are ready to install.
View process5-Axis CNC Machining
Simultaneous five-axis machining for impellers, blades, sculpted surfaces and complex parts that cannot be reached or finished accurately in three axes.

FAQ
Robotics & Automation — frequently asked questions
Can you hold flatness on a large base plate?
Yes, within the limits of the material and thickness. Tell us the flatness requirement and the plate size; thicker stock and stress-relieved material are often the difference between achievable and not.
Do you machine custom end effectors?
Yes, including gripper jaws, mounting plates and lightweight frames. Send the mating component dimensions with the drawing so the interfaces are machined to match.
